The G0686 Large Drill Bit Grinder is designed to sharpen the cutting edges and point angle of 2-flute, twisted large drill bits from 5/8" to 2" in diameter.
It can quickly set the drill angle from 50°–150° with the easy-to-read scale.
The design is very user-friendly. Slip in a drill bit and adjust the tailstock center.
Adjust the drill bit so one chisel is level and touch the flute with the locating pin.
Advance the drill bit into the bore of the grinding wheel with the calibrated handwheel and you’re ready to go!
The swing arm allows precise motion through the grinding procedure and the grinding wheel bore provides beautifully finished cutting edges.
The built-in LED work light illuminates where you need it; especially where the grinding wheel and drill bit meet.
Like all of the Grizzly grinders, the G0686 comes with a 1-year warranty covering parts and assuring the unit is free from factory defects. (Consumables are not covered by the warranty.)
