The patented Amulet Hoeclamp mechanical backhoe thumb utilizes the main pin of your bucket. The Hoeclamp opens and closes as you uncurl and curl your bucket. It’s not a rigid thumb. Hoeclamp works in conjunction with your bucket curl. It is repositionable to accommodate digging when needed; it stores out of the way on the dipper stick when not in use. The Hoeclamp is easy to install in less than an hour. Works on many telescopic sticks, including Ford, New Holland, Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hitachi, John Deere, and Case models.
The Hoeclamp is especially handy for backhoes with telescopic sticks – does not affect the extension or retraction. Especially good on John Deere 310, 410, C and D models, D-Series Cats and Kubota L-35’s. There’s a Hoeclamp model to fit nearly any specific backhoe, mini or full-size excavator up to 30,000 lbs.

Don’t see your model listed? Then unfortunately there is not a Hoeclamp available. However, Equipmentland has other alternatives for extendable sticks, including a coupler thumb and a combination bucket thumb.
Tip Radius Dimensions needed to fulfill order. Measure from the center of the main stick-to-bucket pin (the pin that the bucket swivels on, not the pin that pushes the bucket curl), to the cutting edge and to the end of the teeth if present. If a coupler is present, measure from the stick-to-coupler pin. The measurement/s can be done with the bucket in any position as the radius dimension remains constant. Feel free to order and supply the dimension later.
