W1680 17" Floor Drill Press

The Shop Fox W1680 17" Floor Drill Press is perfect for the average size cabinet shop or small machine shop.

The W1680 is fitted with a 1/16" to 5/8" JT-3 keyed drill chuck and a Morse Taper #3 for the larger direct mount bits.

This 17" Floor Drill Press offers 3-1/4" of spindle travel and a drilling capacity of 1" through mild steel.

The 14" diameter, round table can swivel 360° around the column and allows for drilling at different angles as it tilts 90° in both directions.

Setting the adjustable depth stop allows for predetermined and repeatable drilling.

With solid cast-iron construction, sealed ball bearings, and rubber coated quick-adjust handles, the W1680 has the quality and convenience you want in a machine investment.

There is even a built-in light so you can see what your workpiece.

hello there we are happy with the product but i suggest to use a different delivery company ESTES company who delivered the product didn´t had anything to move the product inside the trailer truck so we had to pushed the item to the end of the trailer to be able to unloaded it. at first I asked the driver why did had the pallet jack to move stuff around he said the company didn't provide anything and didn´t care about that so he told me i can refuse the delivery but we can not refuse it since it was a item we need for our shop to be able to work so we ended up pushed the heavy forklift boom so I suggest to use a different delivery company since ESTES DO NOT CARE about the delivery and can be damege items by pushing them

I thought I was buying a complete cart as pictured in ad. I was disappointed when it arrived. Getting ready to send it back.

It really gets the job done.

The only problem I see with it. Is that the valve that controls the flow of fluid to the chain sometimes loosen up on its on while cutting causing excess fluid to drain out. So I got to keep getting out of the machine to reset the valve.
